Past and Present Projects

I've been starting projects and working on web and creative stuff for as long as I can remember. Some projects are still active, most are dead and buried. For completion's and nostalgia's sake, here's a list of past and present projects.

KerstmisGids

A Dutch guide to everything Christmas. Yeah, you read that right 😅 Currently acting as publisher/editor, making sure new content gets added every season.

Weekly Review Checklist

Whether you're practitioner of the Getting Things Done productivity method, or someone who's looking to improve his/her productivity routine, doing a Weekly Review is the perfect way to get clear and current. This Weekly Review Checklist will help you with doing just that.

Past projects

SCP

Founded in 1997, SCP was my first online endeavour, which started out as a website that offered tracker music. This website grew out to be a well-known internet-label in the online hardcore-techno scene, and spawned several artists who are still working as professional DJ's and producers to this date (N-Vitral and Noisekick, to name a few). To help preserve its legacy, we're planning on re-releasing its complete backcatalogue along with previously unreleased tracks and behind the scenes material.

IDP

Around the year 2000, UCP/SCP joint sublabel Industrial Death Productions (IDP) was formed, focussing on tracks that were more aggressive in nature. Eventually, the decision was made to merge those tracks with the main SCP catalogue, therefore disbanding the sublabel, and operating solely under the SCP flag.

Deimos Design

Back in the netlabel days, aside from releasing music on the internet, I did a lot of freelance web and graphic design work under the name Deimos Design. Clients included other (net)labels, several music producers, and some local businesses.

Chiefly

I recently pulled the plug on Chiefly, partly because it didn't have a solid product/market fit, but mostly because maintaining it became a drag, and I wanted to spend my time on projects I really love working on.

GoedkoperGeworden.nl

A Dutch site that tracked price changes in the product feeds of several big webshops. Every time there was a reduced price, the product got mentioned, and people were able to buy it through an affiliate link.

Cartograpp

Online service that let people create their own maps, and add pinned locations (including details, reviews, and photos) to them, creating a fully interactive map. Discontinued because Google updated their terms for Google Maps.
